Hardware: 2 Smooth Swing Springs
[HK-SW]
$20.00

Smooth Your Swinging. . .
. . .Use Porch Swing Soft Springs
The Swing-MateR spring locates between the overhead support and the swing's chain to provide a more comfortable, softer feel to your porch swing, free-standing swing, hammocks, or hammock chair.  As you can see from the picture, the Swing-MateR is a heavy-duty, barrel-shaped coil spring approximately 2” in diameter and 8-1/2” in length.  It is zinc-plated and clear coated to provide additional protection against the elements. YOU GET TWO SPRINGS PER PURCHASE!!

The springs come in sets for porch swings and hammocks and are also available as singles for hanging chairs.  For oversized swings and hammocks, Swing-MateR buddies can be "doubled up" to increase the spring weight capacity -- of 600 lbs. EACH!

Must ship by Priority Mail ($5.5o total S&H fee) due to weight.

Here are some projects which would use these springs:

Porch Swing with Mission A-Frame
Love Seat Porch Swing
Shaded Lawn Swing
Traditional Porch Swing
Hanging Chair Project

White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.            Call 1-800-296-6256 Mon-Fri from 8am to 2pm, EST, with your question or order.            Old croquet mallets, cut down to size, make inexpensive backup woodworking mallets!            A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up.            Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.            Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer.            Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat!            Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter.            Sign up for FREE Email Sale Alerts and save 10-30% on plans from time to time. Check the left of the page for a link.            Welcome fellow woodworker!            Did you know you can Mail-In your order? Check the left of the page for a Mail-In Orderform link.            Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.            If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present.            Wipe the clear sheild of your safety glasses with a dryer static cling sheet -- it will keep sawdust from sticking to them!            Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags.            Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back.            Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects.            Our low-cost First Class shipping is only $3.5o -- most plans parcels arrive to U.S.A. customers in just 3-5 days.            The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks.            Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed.            Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building!            Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove.
