If you don't want the neighborhood kids over at your house, don't build this project! There is plenty of seating around the 40" wide sandbox area. The roof provides partial shade from the overhead sun, while still allowing some sunlight. We find it to be an attractive design that does not disturb the view and it is still small enough for most any yard.

White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks.
