This little playset is based on classic farms. You get full size patterns for a barn with sliding door, a silo, a corral, stacked hay, a tractor, several animals, and a front gate. Sturdy fences hold up well in use during play. Bunnies have their own pen and there is a feeding trough for the pigs. The house is packed with fun additions and detail -- the yard includes a tree complete with swing, a teeter-totter, sand box, a dog and doghouse, a wellhead, shrubs and a picket fence and pathway to the front door. Great imagination builder. Great scrollsaw pattern.

Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Easily remove rusted screws by heating the head with a soltering iron -- it will expand, then contract making it easy to remove. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.
