Hey, thanks to Mike Ballard who sent this great photo of his modified Rocking Roarer motorcycle rocker. Looks like some fantastic paint work was done -- glitter and all. I think Mike turned his bike into a chopper by elongating the front wheel assembly. Nice touch, Mike!

Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Measure twice, cut once -- the paramount rule of building! Extend the life of your tack cloths by putting them in baby food jars or ziplock storage bags. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.
