Here is a super project. You learned about them in grade school as the wagons which tamed the west for pioneers -- conestoga wagons -- which are generically referred to as covered wagons. Overall length of wagon, with tow bar, is 60", while the storage area is 36" long. The height is 25" and the width is almost 19". Interesting to build and display.

The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. Keep your table saw push stick close at hand by fastening it to the front of your saw table with velcro or magnets so you can quickly grab it when needed. Welcome fellow woodworker! Petroleum jelly and cooking oils make perfect inexpensive, non-toxic light stains for projects. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Cloths used to wipe stain can be safely air dried in a well ventilated area away from pets and children. Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock.
