Bill, in the way of a true goat, has an old metal soup can in his mouth. Bill may get himself into trouble, but he'll help keep a favorite child out of trouble. Seat height is 17", which is a little high for 2 year old toddlers, but they'll quickly grow into it.

The tips of different sizes of nails can be used as drill bits, working well on most wood stocks. Use a moist cloth to slightly dampen your hands before feeding stock through a cutter -- it gives you a much better grip on the stock. White pencils are very useful in woodworking...they make easy to see lines on darker wood stocks. Welcome fellow woodworker! Keep your saw blades clean at all times. A gooey blade can cause dangerous kick back. A roll up window blind or shade is a perfect place to store woodworking plans -- just tape them down and let the shade roll them up. If you have to bend small pieces of wood, wrap them in a damp towel and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes on high -- be certain no metal is present. Covering the back side of sandpaper with duct tape will make it last MUCH longer. Abrasive wheels can be cleaned of goo with cooking spray -- it also helps prevent buildup of particulate matter. Keep your stains and glues from freezing in your non-heated workshop by storing them in a plastic food cooler. Neat! Dented wood can often be repaired by heating a damp cloth with an iron over the dent...the wood will expand, filling the hole.
